Chỉ người kém tài, kém sức mà lại muốn đua đòi, thi thố với kẻ vượt trội hơn hẳn, nên dễ chuốc lấy thất bại. Cũng dùng để chê sự dại dột khi giao du, chơi bời với hạng người xảo trá, quỷ quyệt.

Refers to someone who is inferior in ability yet foolishly tries to compete with someone far more capable, inviting failure. It is also used to criticize the folly of associating or getting involved with deceitful, cunning people.
